The SC/ST Cell has been constituted in accordance with the guidelines of UGC, AICTE, VTU, and the Government of India to promote the welfare and equal opportunities of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students.

Responsibilities of the Nominated Faculty Coordinator

Core mandate of the SC/ST Cell coordinator and committee

Ensuring the implementation of the guidelines and policies issued by UGC, AICTE, VTU, and the Government for the welfare of SC/ST students.

Interacting regularly with SC/ST students and staff to understand their concerns and facilitate appropriate guidance and timely resolution of issues.

Creating awareness among SC/ST students about Government scholarships, welfare schemes, reservation policies, and educational opportunities.

Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and discrimination-free environment for SC/ST students.

Organizing awareness programs, seminars, workshops, counselling sessions, and other student development activities for the benefit of SC/ST students.
