His Holiness Poojya Shri Dr. Shivabasava Mahaswamiji of Rudrakshimath Naganur is the renowned ascetic and divine personality of this era in India’s Southern part. His Holiness served humanity for the betterment of n needy people. In 1994, His Holiness Poojya Shri Dr. Tontad Siddharama Maha Swamiji succeeded as the ninth successor of the Rudrakshimath Naganur. Swamiji is a brilliant scholar and a Post Graduate of Banaras Hindu University. In recognition of his service, Rani Chennamma University, Belagavi conferred an Honorary Doctorate in 2013. Swamiji is a visionary and divine personality and has rendered service in the field of education. With the blessings of His Holiness Poojya Shri Dr. Shivabasava Mahaswamiji, the incumbent Swamiji strengthen the S.S Education Society by establishing the Engineering Institute in the name of Karnataka state” renowned irrigation technologist Shri S G. Balekundri in 2008 at Belagavi and developed as the pioneer & Engineering Institute of the state. The Swamiji’s profound experience, proficient administration, skillful, experienced faculty engineered the Institute a premier Engineering Institute and fascinated eminent personalities.
The S. G. Balekundri Institute of Technology is situated at the heart place of Belagavi city, delivering engineering education in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Computer Science & Engineering at the Undergraduate level.
